Educational Qualification 

Project Manager

Ph.D. in Marine Biology/ Marine Science/ Marine Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognized university with 20 years of research experience in the relevant field with a proven track record.

Project Scientist-III

M.Sc in Marine Science/ Hydrochemistry/ Marine Chemistry/ any branch of chemistry or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree (M.Sc) and 7 years of research experience

Project Scientist-II

M.Sc in Marine Science/ Hydrochemistry/ Marine Chemistry/ any branch of chemistry or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in the Master’s Degree (M.Sc) and 3 years of research experience in relevant field

Project Scientist-I

M.Sc in Marine Science/ Hydrochemistry/ Marine Chemistry/ any branch of chemistry or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree (M.Sc)

Senior Project Associate

M.Sc/ M.F.Sc in Marine Biology/ Marine Sciences/ Fisheries Science/ Life Science/ Aquaculture or equivalent from a recognized university

Project Associate-II/ SRF

M.Sc in Marine Science/ Marine Biology/ Zoology/ Life Science or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree (M.Sc) and 2 years of relevant research experience

Selection Process

The selection for the posts shall be on the basis of performance of the screened-in candidates in the interview. Director, CMLRE reserves the right to decide on the mode of interview either online/offline and in case of online mode through any available online video conferencing mode.

ii) Before submitting the online application, the applicants are requested to go through carefully the details of the post and content of the post on the website http://www.cmlre.gov.in.

iii) Submit online application well in advance along-with legible and scanned copies of educational qualification, experience certificates, date of birth, disability (OH, PH), reservation/caste (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) certificate, No Objection Certificate in PDF format not exceeding 100 KB for each document/attachment. If the certificates are in a language other than English or Hindi, then attested translation should be uploaded.

iv) A recent passport size colour photograph (scanned) should be in .jpg format (size not exceeding 100 KB).

v) Signature (scanned) should be in .jpg format (size not exceeding 100 KB)

vi) The applicants are advised to fill in all their particulars carefully in the online application. Incomplete application may lead to rejection.

vii) Applicants are advised to retain the acknowledgement and printout of the submitted online application for future reference.
