Assist the SAFEEN MS function with the timely, accurate, and efficient preparation and management of documents. This includes controlling the numbering and sorting of hardcopy documents created by SAFEEN MS Commercial and Business Development teams, project leaders, and associated departments. As a Document Controller, you will also be expected to train your employees. This training will teach you how to correctly create and fill in company documents.
Archive and organize documents
Manage the organization and storage of documents. This includes scanning and copying documents, electronically or physically filing documents, organizing documents and ensuring that documents are safe from theft and destruction according to the retention schedule.
Fulfillment of Document Retrieval Demands
The Maritime Cluster, Abu Dhabi Ports Departments and clients will direct you in retrieving documents. You will be expected to keep a log of each request as part of your role.
The database records the requests and provides the materials quickly and efficiently.

Keep your documents safe
You will be required to edit and review documents on a regular basis as part of your role as a Document Controller. This is in accordance with the guidelines established by the Maritime Cluster.
Performance Indicators and Key Tasks
You will be expected to train employees on how to properly create and fill out company documents as part of this job. Sometimes, this training will include helping clients fill out the proper paperwork and the filing process.
Higher degree or equivalent experience
Experience in a similar job with Port Marine Services is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
