Competencies and Essential Requirements
Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent qualification
Minimum of 1-year experience in the food and beverage industry
Must have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
Multitasking and time management skills
Great organizational and planning skills
Desirable Competencies and Requirements
Experience with airline catering preferred.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of nationalities to accomplish one's job effectively and satisfactorily
Key Accountabilities
As per catering orders, clear all equipment that is relevant for the pre-setting.
Food items should be stored correctly in the designated areas according to Hygiene Practices
Assemble all sections of the galley-loading chart, the packing list, and the menu specifications.
The Hi-loaders can be offloaded and loaded with food and non-food items according to the galley load plan. Police officers will assist during security checks and all items will be delivered to the aircraft.
When preparing food or non-food items, ensure that you follow the correct galley loading procedures
In order to meet the company's hygiene requirements, ensure that food is kept cold in the cold room until it is loaded onto the aircraft. Also, make sure that food is not exposed to excessive heat or humidity.
Before you begin the loading process, make sure all standard items are available
According to company procedure and ramp safety marshaling, offload any damaged equipment and load food and other items to the aircraft.
Conform to the Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities Standards
Follow the ISO 9001:2000 international standards for Quality Policy and Quality System and follow the department work procedures.
Competencies and Essential Requirements
Must have worked at least one year in the department.
The candidate should not have any outstanding warnings, or disciplinary.
Candidate must be FC03 or above
