Position title

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage Toyota & Lexus Ras Al Khaimah's workshop stores and maintain control over receipts, issues, storage, consumables, and tools. Your role will include assisting the Workshop Manager with administrative matters, such as. The attendance record, incentive calculation and timesheet control/compilation are just a few of the many responsibilities you will have.


What will you do

  • To purchase workshop consumables, tools and equipment, or to establish stock levels, or on specific instructions from the Workshop Manager or Foreman. This involves technical understanding of the need, sourcing, obtaining quotes, deciding supplier, raising LPO/LSR, and any follow-up.
  • Receiving all indented materials and confirming their quality and quantity. You must ensure that all materials are issued with proper documentation.
  • All returnable materials, e.g. tools, SSTs, manuals, etc. when they are due to be returned to the store. For adjustment of inventory and to charge job cards, non-returnable materials such as consumables and paint are recorded.
  • Assist the Workshop Manager with administrative matters, e.g. Attendance record, incentive calculation, timesheet control/compilation and fixed asset inventory audit are some of the administrative tasks that the Workshop Manager will need to assist.
  • To prevent any fire hazard or other accidents, ensure that the item is stored at a high level of safety.
  • Monitor daily waste stock, including oils, tires and batteries, oil, plastic, paper, metal and batteries. Organize collection of saleable items and disposal.


Skills required to succeed

  • Stock Management Experience for 2 Years
  • Excel, and excellent MS Office skills; SAP added benefit
  • Excellent English communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Valid UAE driving license


Information about the team
This role reports to the Aftersales manager. You will work in a busy workshop environment, dealing with Controller, Foreman, and Technicians on a daily basis.


What do you need to be able to play the role?
The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Trade Certificate in Automotive. At least two years of relevant experience in a storekeeping role in an automotive workshop is required. Additionally, you should be able to communicate well with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
