Role Profile

Define the strategic and tactical direction of each product line within each category, in accordance with product calendars. Also, assess and manage the product Business mix to meet Company Financial and Business goals.

These are the Key Performance Areas that include

Mentor and coach your team, help them set goals, and encourage their development on an ongoing basis.

Responsible for providing coaching, guidance, and management to the eCommerce Product Merchandising Team, ensuring that the team develops the necessary skills.

Responsible for world-class product presentation, merchandising and marketing of products within the specified categories.

The management and continuous development of the customer-facing product hierarchy.

Direct and in collaboration with the eCommerce Content team, management of product and bundle enrichment

If the Trading Manager is not available, you can take over the role of the Trading Manager and make commercial decisions.

Assist in the management of workflows and prioritization activities, assisting whenever necessary

Contribute to the development and provision KPI reporting

Assist with communication between eCommerce Product Merchandisers, and all other internal stakeholders Provide support, advice, and training to eCommerce Product Merchandisers in their day-to-day trading activities and wider review including sales, margin mix, promotional analysis and larger review including sales and profit mix, sales and attachment rates, product availability, range management, and product availability. To achieve business objectives, manage Business strategies and activities.

Responsible for the success of the online Category(s). This is done through the efficient merchandising of products online for brands in their operating markets.

Responsible for Category(s), budgeted sales, margin, and execution of online strategies to deliver eCommerce KPIs.

Assist in the creation of an online budget and commercial plan for each Category.

Establish and maintain a agreed set of competitors. In any marketing intelligence activity, ensure that the competitor set is reported.

Working with brand merchant teams to solve pricing issues that are ongoing and significant for competitors.

Responsible for day-to-day Category Management, including review of price/market competivity, range and product lives cycle management, promotional analysis, and communication with brand merchandising tea
