Description

As the brand champion, the Marketing Executive will assist with marketing initiatives and projects, as well as supporting Social Media and Digital activities. This role is particularly focused on digital marketing and promotion for the hotel's F&B outlets. It is also responsible for maintaining and updating all marketing channels, internal and external.

The Marketing Executive will work closely with the social media lead, graphic design team and any online marketing campaigns. The Marketing Executive must be comfortable with meeting media and presenting the hotel's features. The Marketing Executive will assist the F&B and Spa teams, as well as other departments in the creation, launch promotion, and execution of new ideas. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, as well as coordinating photography and video productions for the hotel.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education:

Required diploma; preferred additional education in the fields of sales and marketing.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Supervisor or Coordinator position.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Manage websites and other sites to maintain a positive online presence
  • Create innovative and creative digital marketing campaigns
  • As part of the regional E-commerce team, we review websites like OTAs or blogs to verify that all information and photos are correct.
  • Strategic marketing tools can be used to generate incremental room, F&B and Spa revenue (Google PPC campaigns, paid social media ads).
  • Monthly marketing reports for hotels
  • Respect the digital budgets you have been allocated
  • To ensure smooth communication, work closely with Graphic Designers, F&B, and Spa teams
  • Marketing campaigns should be planned with different platforms according to your business needs.
  • Assist with administration tasks (invoices and contracts, etc.)
  • Assist with video and photography requests, and manage the process on property
  • For any collateral/print needs, get in touch with your suppliers
  • As needed, support the Social Media Lead and Marketing Manager as necessary

 

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Excellent organizational/administrative skills with office management experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload on your own initiative
  • Multitasking and working under pressure require the ability to work with limited resources.
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills are essential to strong writing skills
  • You have excellent computer skills and detailed knowledge of many computer programs. This includes MS Excel, Powerpoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the service, hotel and travel industry preferred
  • 2 years experience in marketing
  • You are familiar with publishing tools, and you have a thorough understanding of design priorities and best practices.
  • Demonstrate understanding and interest in Social Media such as Twitter, Facebook Instagram, Pinterest, Linked In etc.

  • Professional in appearance, character, and conduct

  • Assist other employees in ensuring proper guest service and coverage.
  • You can anticipate your guests' service needs by asking them questions to gain a better understanding of their needs. Also, you can watch/listen to guests preferences and take action whenever they are.
  • Service guests in a positive, professional, and timely manner.
  • Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
  • Show appreciation to your guests and say goodbye with a heartfelt farewell.
  • With a smile, eye contact and friendly greetings, you will be able to welcome and acknowledge all guests.
  • Provide directions and information to residents and guests about property amenities, services, hours of operation, local areas of interest, and other activities.

  • Use appropriate etiquette to answer telephones. This includes answering within three rings, smiling in one's face, using one's name, using your voice to answer, using the caller's name, asking permission to place the caller on hold, taking and relaying information, and allowing them to hang up.
  • Use clear, professional language when speaking to guests or co-workers.
  • To effectively exchange information, talk with and listen to employees.

  • Be there for your coworkers and treat them with respect and dignity.
  • With tact, respect and diplomacy, handle sensitive issues with guests and employees with confidentiality. Maintain productive and positive working relationships with employees from other departments.
