Collaborate with the Category Specialist/ Buyer to obtain the right list suppliers for a specific RFQ/ requisition
To support the implementation of improvements to existing processes, gather data from Supply Chain and Procurement departments
You will need to engage multiple stakeholders in order to source complex, non-contracted foreign purchases.
Create a list of potential suppliers, search for them and then share it with category specialists/buyers. This will ensure that all product types have at least three suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
Regularly provide data on sourcing requisitions in accordance with the types and categories of requests handled by the team. This ensures quality and maintains departmental dashboards.
Check prices and product specifications from foreign suppliers for complicated items. Confirm them with internal stakeholders.
In case of continuous issues with suppliers, ensure that all supplier nonconformance reports have been completed and are current.
- ; Diploma or an equivalent qualification (preferably in supply chain/ procurement).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a procurement environment
Communication skills are a must
Ability to work in a team and with difficult deadlines
Computer proficiency ERP knowledge, MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
