Accountabilities of key importance
To monitor and maintain the station's operational status, and to ensure passenger safety and comfort within the station premises.
Carry out controlled/uncontrolled/emergency evacuation of passengers.
To ensure passenger flows are controlled and minimize overcrowding at stations and platforms, it is important to control and reduce congestion.
Communicate essential messages to passengers using audio or visual media in a prompt, clear and proactive way.
In an emergency, monitor and control the direction and flow of passengers.
Answer passenger inquiries, provide information about train services and sell tickets.

Able to comprehend complex systems and have good IT skills.
You have strong organisational skills and are detail-oriented.
You are a mature, responsible and proactive worker who is able to take initiative and solve problems.
Ability to communicate professionally and persuasively with employees at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent communication skills, the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Specific requirements
A degree holder or higher diploma in post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is ideal.
Required skills in literacy and numeracy.
Numeracy in recording and dealing with cash transactions.
Minimum of two years experience in front-line customer service at a Metro station, or an equivalent.
Minimum of one year experience in driving passengers safely according to pre-determined routes.
Understanding and experience in dealing with customers.
Basic understanding of station operations, and related activities.
They must be able to drive the monorail in their duties.

The Customer Service Representative will ensure that customers receive a safe, reliable, and world-class station environment and train service.

Principal responsibilities Monitor and maintain the station's operational status to ensure passenger safety and comfort within station premises. Overcrowding at stations and platforms can be controlled and managed to ensure passenger flows are well-managed. Communicate essential messages to passengers using audio or visual media in a prompt, clear, and proactive way. In an emergency, monitor and control the direction and flow of fare gates to ensure safety and efficiency. Answer passenger queries and sell tickets.

What we look for in our candidates: An initiative- and problem-solving ability, a mature, responsible and proactive approach to work. Effective communication skills with all staff levels. Excellent communication skills, the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. This role requires excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

Specific requirements
A degree holder or higher diploma in post-secondary education in the related discipline is preferred. Minimum of two years experience in frontline customer service at a Metro station, or equivalent. A minimum of 1-year of experience driving passengers safely according to the prescribed routes. A certified passenger train driver is preferred.
