Principal responsibilities
You will work with your team to create custom-made logistics solutions that our customers can outsource to us. Your role will be to provide integrated, end-to-end transportation services and solutions that move the world for customers. You will be responsible for the customer experience, including managing the shipment process, filing, and coordination with international logistics teams.

You will also:

  • To better serve customers and to identify business opportunities, build customer relationships and be curious as to their business drivers and business needs.
  • Assure smooth delivery of your shipment throughout its lifecycle, ensure that you follow the service-level agreements agreed to and find root causes for any delays.
  • Coordinate with the commercial organization on customer commitments, forecasts
  • Maersk management should be consulted about potential service failures or trends
  • Continuous improvement is key to satisfying customers. We do things better and smarter.

 

We're looking for people who are able to plan well and manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of the larger picture. You must also love delivering excellent customer service.

  • A background as a freight forwarder or logistics supply chain position is preferred.
  • Previous customer experience in a customer-facing position
  • You can spot ways to optimize your existing processes
  • Learn to speak and write English fluently
  • Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
