  • Your responsibility is to ensure guest satisfaction and departmental profitability.
  • Effective scheduling, budgeting and purchasing decisions can help you control labor and operating costs. You can also manage inventory and cash.
  • Regular training sessions should be held with the team assigned in accordance with departmental SOPs, e.g. Guest care, service standards and up-selling approach to guestrooms. Telephone manners.
  • Prepare and issue duty plans for each team member
  • Monitoring service activities in the Room Service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with Kitchen, Stewarding and Cashiers, as well as other key service department personnel
  • Ensure that the telephones are always answered and work towards a successful 24 hour operation
  • Keep in touch with guests to ensure they receive prompt and professional service.
  • Responsible for the delivery and clearance all guestroom amenities. Also conduct spot checks
  • Minibar operations should be managed in a professional manner
  • To minimize damage and loss, ensure that equipment is properly handled.

Prefer Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience of 3 to 5 years in the management of Minibar and Room Service operations at the highest level.
  • You have a flair for creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
