Reservations Agent

All cancellations, changes and requests for reservation information received by mail, fax, or phone are processed. Identify the guest's reservation requirements and select the appropriate room type. Verify the availability of the room type and rate. Callers should be informed about the guarantee, cancellation policy, and special rate. Special requests can be accommodated and documented. Answer questions regarding property facilities/services or room accommodations. To maximize your revenue, follow sales techniques. Enter access and code data into the reservation system. Input the rate and code required to indicate special room types, such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts and inspection rates for travel agents, wholesale reservations, or other discounted rates. When dealing with guest concerns, follow the proper escalation procedures.

Respect all company policies and procedures. Keep your appearance professional and uniform. Protect company assets. All guests should be greeted and acknowledged according to company guidelines. Use clear, professional language to communicate with others; use appropriate etiquette when answering phones. Establish and maintain positive working relationships; support your team to achieve common goals; listen to and respond to employees' concerns. Conform to quality assurance standards and expectations. Without assistance, move, lift, transport, push, pull, or place objects less than 10 pounds. Other reasonable job duties, as required by Supervisors.
