Qualification:
1. Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical)
- Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks
- Minimum two years post qualification experience / training as Ship Draftsman in a
- Shipyard or Engineering Company or
2. Senior Ship Draftsman (Electrical)
- Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
- Minimum two years post qualification experience / training as Ship Draftsman in a
- Shipyard or Engineering Company or
3. Senior Ship Draftsman (Electronics)
- Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
- Minimum two years post qualification experience / training as Ship Draftsman in a
- Shipyard or Engineering Company or
4. Junior Technical Assistant (Safety)
- (a) Three year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% of marks.
- (b) One year Diploma in Industrial Safety approved by State / Central Government
- Minimum four years experience in Safety in a Public Sector Undertaking or a Factory after the three year Diploma in Engineering.

Age Limit:
- (i) The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 35 years as on 06 January 2021. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC candidates in posts reserved for them. The upper age limit shall be relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
- (ii) Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen as per Government of India guidelines, calculated by deducting the period of military service from the actual age and adding three years thereto, subject to a maximum age of 45 years.
